BENS BLOG The best Bond yet

first_img[dropcap]O[/dropcap]ne of this blog’s oldest and best friends, ‘Homer’, recently recommended a restaurant for us to check out; Big Easy Barbecue and Crabshack. Promising ribs and chicken-wings, it didn’t take me long to follow his instruction. It was murder to get a table, but well worth it, and the place is one word: ‘fun’.Big Easy, ‎332 – 334 Kings Road, SW3 5UR (WEB SITE). Great value at £19 a head, for all the ribs and chicken, you can possibly eat. The macaroni cheese was the dot on the card. Though bizarrely, for such an establishment, they don’t do Nachos or corn-on-the-cob‎. You’ll enjoy it and the grubs good too. 7In other news:Went to see ‘Spectre’, the new Bond film, this evening. The film was a great advert for London too… They had dinner in Rules (not forgetting to order the Eton Mess, if it was on the specials, I’m sure), and also showing us Bond’s flat in Chelsea (I hope he doesn’t have to mix with all the local Trustafarians!!).Spectre. 2.5 hours, but at no point drags on and gets boring. Moneypenny just gets hotter and hotter.‎ And we all still want to be James Bond. You really shouldn’t miss this one. 9Over and out, B xlast_img read more
