Organized by FIJET Croatia and the Association of Tourist Journalists of the Croatian National Theater, the Marko Polo Awards for the best tourist reports were presented at the Croatian Journalists’ House. The Grand Prix “Marco Polo 2019” was awarded to the editor and journalist and also the president of FIJET Romania Stefan Baci, while the Marco Polo award this year went to Radmila Kovačević, a journalist from Večernji list. Marco Polo medallions were also awarded, so Lana Mindoljević also received this award for her travelogue on the most beautiful continental rivers for swimming and the travelogue “LOŠINJ: fragrant anti-stress therapy on the island of greenery, vitality, dolphins and crystal clear sea”. The evaluation committee for the Marco Polo Awards consisted of Anita Žuvela Hitrec, Hrvoje Zovko and, as president, Ante Gavranović.
