first_img FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailEPHRAIM, Utah-The Snow College women’s volleyball team improved to 21-2 on the season and took over sole possession of first place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings with a 3-1 win over No. 9 Salt Lake C.C. on Thursday.The Badgers took to first set, 25-21. The two teams traded points through the second set with SLCC outlasting the Badgers, 27-25. Snow took control of the match with a decisive 25-15 win in the third set, and came from behind to take the fourth and final set, 25-21.Sophomore Sarah Morley led the way for the Badgers with a team-high 14 kills on 44 swings. Morley hit .205 on the night, and was credited with 13 digs. Sophomore Andreanna McKee racked up 13 kills on 36 attempts to hit .222. Freshmen Korrin Thornock and Lydia Montague had 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Freshman setter Ellee Anderson posted a match-high 51 assists.Defensively, the Badgers held Salt Lake C.C. to a .152 hitting percentage, forcing 25 errors on 164 attempts.
